The first phase of Guangzhou Pazhou Complex covers an area of 430,000 square meters, with a construction area of 395,000 square meters, 13 first and second exhibition halls, a display area of about 130,000 square meters, and an outdoor exhibition area of 22,000 square meters. It was officially put into use at the end of 2002. It is currently the largest convention center in Asia.
